Cosplay portraits shot on 35mm and 120 film at CRX. I’ve shot 35mm before at previous cons but this was my first time shooting 120 at one. I didn’t realize just how shallow the depth of field can be at only f3.5. Definitely will have to be more conscience of focusing next time. Since the Yashica Mat is a twins reflex (there is a viewing lens and a taking lens, when the subject comes within a certain distance, what you see in the viewing lens is no longer accurate), parallax effected the early images (Padme) and they definitely were not framed how I had intended. I ended up cropping them to 4.5x6 ratio, which I prefer anyway. Once I adjusted (one grid line up) the results were much better. I posted the entire roll even though not all of them were perfect, for the ones that were not there was still a certain charm and immediacy to them that I liked.
